(Hot) "Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
This has been talked about, speculated, celebrated, hated and theorised for years now, the fact that"Guild Wars 2"doesn't follow a traditional MMORPG levelling curve. Every MMObk (pre-dating 2012) has a grind of some kind, whether you want to lie to yourself or not. There is a grind in every game. This is something that scarily enough, Arena Net have eliminated, they were happy enough to talk about this well before the beta's and you might be thinking "We already know this, why are you writing an article about it?!" Let me tell you why."Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
Game Developers have this thing about... stretching the truth. It might be true, but it might not be as fun or amazing as they let on. It's not always intentional and it's perfectly normal to sensationalize your product, but to the extent Guild Wars 2 has been hyped up, we're all expecting big results. So let's talk about whether this curve exists or not and if not, how smooth it really is."Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
Everything I say from here on is from limited but explored knowledge. It's going to be 90% accurate with a few inconstancies depending on what they change before release but for those of you who are actually interested in things like this, it should be a good read."Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
Let's start from the very beginning, level 1. We'll split this article into the three experiences I've had. 1-10, 10-30 and 70-80. (Beta Weekend, Stress Test, Euro Gamer) respectively."Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
1-10
The experience of 1-10 was pretty amazing. It started of strong and just kept delivering. You start of in a multi-instance in the sense you'll be joined with hundreds of other players but there will be other instances of other hundreds to make sure you're starting story experience is "oh god there are so many people I don't need to do anything" It's a nice amount of people and it really starts you of strong. At the end of your story instance there will be a boss and by the end of you'll likely be level 1-4 depending on how much killing you did with about 1-3 of your weapon skills unlocked. I feel like this is the perfect spot to be let out into the open world. Once you're done with your instance you'll be explained what Dynamic Events are and how to participate them with a very cunningly hidden tutorial experience which doesn't feel like one but works like one (the best kind of tutorial experience) and after you've done a couple you can either keep exploring the world doing more and more of them making your impact on the world, or starting your personal story which will come up every now and then. A real sweet spot of action, but not too much to be feeling over-whelmed."Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
10-30
I'd say I did 10-30 completely differently from other people. I finished my personal story and instead of instance roaming did the rest in PvP. That's right, 100% focused on World vs. World vs. World (W3) and levelling up sometimes without me even noticing it. This felt great that in the middle of a siege i'd see (You've unlocked a utility slot!) and I'd rush while fighting to equip something useful (in this case it was 5 seconds of invincibility) and I'd scream on vent, charge into the battle using a skill I've never used before and myself and my guild will defeat the enemy against the odds all thanks to a lucky level up. The level up pace in W3 is amazing. It's not too fast nor is it too slow, you level up at a perfect rate and I literally did not leave W3 the whole time in either of the beta's. It was a constant state of war that I was rewarded for in gold, karma and levels. But wouldn't the enemies have better armour than me? NOPE. Thanks to my commitment to W3 I had enough Karma to buy the tier 1 PvP set (level 10) and it was as good as level twenty stuff, so fully geared, levelling up and rewarded enough gold for siege weapons... that was truly the PvP experience of my life."Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
This was back in Summer 2011, I attended the Euro Gamer convention which they had a lot of NCsoft guys showcasing the game and giving out goodies. A lot of the NCsoft guys were pretty cool and I got so many Guild Wars 2 M&M's and bottles of water I didn't know what to do with. I finally got to talk to someone who had power in the game and we talked about levelling in the higher area's and how it would go, while playing my level 80 Asura. Levels 30-80 seemed to be very focused on the development of your traits and as such the trait system has constantly been evolving to feel more rewarding and more fun. (The trait system was very different in 2011) and so back then, I couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that at level 30 I'd have unlocked all the skills the game had to offer and that the last levels were just for armour and more skill points. Thankfully my doubts have been solved with a very in-depth (and cool) trait system. It's very customizable and features selectable options every 10 points. Every point gives you a set ‘increase' of stats depending which tree you're following and at 5-15-25 points you get a set bonus. However the real fun is at 10-20-30 you get a selectable bonus to really customize your build so when selecting your builds ideally you'll be aiming for 10-20-30 for the extra bonus so it's going to be really interesting seeing how this works out."Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
There is still so much to see and no one could possibly predict what Arena Net will do next, but rest assured, "no curve levelling" is definitely not a lie."Buy Guild Wars 2 gold"
